Electrical Designer Co-op|Mining & Metals

Our Mining Division in Eastern Canada is growing, and we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Designer co‑op to join our team in the Burlington office. This will be a fall term co‑op.

About the role

• Provides basic drawings and design suggestions under the guidance of a more senior designer or engineer.
• Complies with Ausenco or client specific drawing specifications and document control procedures.
• Prepares drawings and uses CAD aided design software for the creation of electrical design of single line diagrams, motor schematics, wiring, general arrangement, distribution panels, grounding, lighting, and cable tray.
• Prepares drawings and uses CAD aided design software for instrumentation and controls design of loop drawings, PLC and DCS wiring, panel layout and instrument general arrangement.
• Back drafts redlines from check prints and markups as directed by the Electrical Engineer/Technologist.
