Electrical Designer – Mid Level (Hybrid)

The role – what you’ll do Barr is seeking an electrical technician/designer to join our Canadian team. In this hybrid role, you will support our engineering group on the detailed electrical design of various industrial systems. Project responsibilities will include electrical power and control system design, equipment coordination, lighting products and systems, and electrical distribution. You’ll collaborate with engineers and other designers, incorporating electrical information into drawings from other disciplines. Field visits to client sites, such as industrial processing facilities, power plants, renewable facilities, and other heavy industrial facilities.

A successful person in this role is flexible, collaborative, and demonstrates strong initiative. The ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, communicates effectively, and adapts to changing schedules to meet deadlines and client needs.
