Our client has a vacancy in their Boiler business unit, Bellville, for a person who will be responsible for the specification, design, drawing, testing, and commissioning of electrical and electronic control systems relating to steam and hot water boilers and ancillary equipment, in accordance with national and international standards and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist with commissioning of package boilers, electrical equipment, controls, and instrumentation.
2. Estimate and prepare proposals for electrical & instrumentation scope of supply for boiler enquiries.
3. Design of boiler controls and instrumentation, preparation of instrument lists, I/O lists, EFD’s, loop drawings, routing diagram, hook-ups, instrumentation specifications, instrument data sheets, instrument calibrations, procurement, design of control philosophies, analogue diagrams, design of PLC cabinets, PLC progra...
