Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aElectrical Engineer, Automation to join the Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. The Electrical Engineer, Automation is responsible for design of automated equipment and production cells. They will work individually and as part of a manufacturing team, specify and design new automation systems, troubleshoots and improve existing automation, develop documentation packages and training for process technicians and floor personnel.



What Will You Do?

+ Specify equipment needed to create new automated work cells including robotics, material handling systems, packaging equipment, etc.

+ Define scope-of-work and coordinate internal and external resources to achieve project timelines.

+ Write PLC programs for new systems created in house and provide assistance in troubleshooting existing automated equipment.
