Electrical Engineer Design Lead

**Description**

**SAIC** is seeking an organized and motivated **Electrical Engineer Design Lead** to lead a team of their peers towards the development of complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems for the Navy in **Middletown, RI.**

The ideal candidate brings broad electrical engineering experience and skillsets with some project management experience, and familiarity with systems engineering to this position.

You will lead the design, development, documentation and testing of complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems for the Navy that consist of analog, digital, and power electronics, embedded systems such as FPGAs, commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment such as AC and DC supplies, switching, and instrumentation, National Instruments (NI) PXI, and cRio, systems, extensive cabling and interconnection, Virginia Panel Corporation (VPC) Mass Interconnect systems, and LabVIEW and Test Stand software.
