Electrical Engineer for Heating Plant Projects

Overview

Barona Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our client’s development of modern heating plant projects in Espoo.

This role involves working with electricity-based industrial heating solutions such as electrode boilers, energy storage systems, heat pump technologies, and other large-scale electrical systems used in industrial applications. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of industrial electrical systems (high and low voltage).
• Apply electrical standards and good installation practices; technically assess LV/HV equipment.
• Perform grounding and short-circuit calculations, system sizing, and design cabling and switchgear solutions.
• Critically review system requirements and process integrations; participate in development activities and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
