Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for a project.
Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp to create accurate and efficient system designs.
Design electrical wiring plans, including the integration of solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards.
Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings.
Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement.
Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permitting and approvals.
