Electrical Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Project Engineer - Electrical will work with overhead cranes/hoists in the Konecranes Nuclear Equipment and Services (KNES) business, completing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) coupled with final commissioning.This engineer will be able to read/design electrical schematics, use AutoCAD Electrical, perform electrical calculations, program PLCs using ladder logic and design HMI applications (primarily Rockwell and Siemens), perform field startups & testing, work in industrial environments, have detailed knowledge of electric motor controls, utility circuits, safety circuits, and operator controls, as related to overhead cranes and hoists.This engineer will be able to trouble shoot and resolve problems including but not limited to circuit breakers, transformers, motor starters, contactors, relays, A.C./D.C. inverters, braking resistors, etc.Startups and field service activities can be both domestic and internationally and may ...
