Job Description
- Provide on-site engineering support during construction phases to interpret designs and recommend necessary adjustments to suit site conditions.
- Monitor construction activities and conduct inspections and witnessing of completed works to ensure compliance with approved plans and design specifications.
- Assist in construction coordination and start-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with design engineering requirements by reviewing drawings, specifications, and conducting regular field inspections.
- Perform quantity take-offs and quantity surveys for monitoring, tracking, and reporting purposes.
- Review and assist in reconciling contractor progress billing and payment requests.
- Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, material submittals, method statements) for Designer or Owner approval.
