About the Role Design Works Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to play a key role in the continued growth of our Edmonton office. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional who excels in delivering high‑quality electrical designs while providing technical direction, mentorship, and oversight to a growing team.

The Electrical Engineering Lead will act as a technical authority and project leader, overseeing complex building and subdivision projects from concept through construction. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver practical, coordinated, and cost‑effective electrical systems that meet both code requirements and real‑world construction needs.

We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of consulting experience, strong building design expertise, and the confidence to lead projects, guide junior staff, and contribute to team development and operational excellence.
