Electrical Engineering Technologist

Responsibilities

• Design, inspect, commission, test, maintain and repair electrical power and control systems, generators, transformers, breakers, protection relays and other equipment.
• Read technical electrical, mechanical and instrumentation drawings.
• Serve as point of contact for clients and maintain and develop client service relationships.
• Provide field services and support to internal/external clients.
• Provide operations and reliability engineering support for a variety of industrial and utility clients.
• Write proposals and technical reports related to studies or service calls.
• Oversee and manage small projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree from a post-secondary education institute in a technical field (electrical or mechanical related) that allows for professional affiliations.
• Specialized expertise in a particular area of your field of practice.
