Electrical Estimator (AO-13691)

This is a remote position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, interpret, and analyse project drawings, technical specifications, and scopes of work to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed material, labour, and equipment cost breakdowns for industrial automation, electrical control systems, and related installations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate pricing with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to define project requirements, assumptions, and risk factors.
• Develop bid documents, tender submissions, and proposals for clients in industrial, hazardous area, and automation sectors.
• Use estimating software and tools to prepare and maintain accurate estimate records.
