Job Description
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, compliant, and commercially viable quotations for low-voltage electrical distribution systems, including distribution boards, load centers, and main switchboards. The role supports the internal sales team during the quotation phase and assists project managers post-order to ensure projects are delivered on time and in full.
The position plays a key role in technical clarification, product selection, design documentation, and continuous improvement across estimating, project execution, and master data management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Estimation & Quotation (Pre-Order)
Prepare accurate quotations for distribution boards, load centres, and main switchboards.
Interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), technical drawings, and client specifications.
Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labour allowances aligned with project scope.
