Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and planned maintenance on all electrical equipment on site

  • Perform electrical installations on new equipment

  • Modify and improve existing equipment (with approval) to optimise capacity

  • Ensure legal compliance of all electrical installations and equipment

  • Manage a team of electricians, assistants, and apprentices

  • Diagnose faults and repair machinery

  • Allocate equipment and materials for daily tasks

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards

  • Coordinate, monitor, and report on team performance

  • Plan daily work schedules and ensure effective shift cover

  • Manage overtime within budget

  • Control and order critical spare parts

    • Requirements:
  • Electrical Trade Test

  • Minimum 10 years’ supervisory experience

  • Wireman’s Licence (Advantageous)
