Electrical Manager Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Maintenance Manager/Director of Operations
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES As the Electrical Manager, you are responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all Mt Seymour electrical systems, including ski lifts and mountain infrastructure. You will lead and support a team of electricians and apprentices, oversee maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, sound decision‑making, and the ability to work in a dynamic outdoor environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Team Oversight
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of electricians and apprentices
Plan, prioritize, and assign daily and seasonal workloads
Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across the department
