Job Description
Ensure that all aspects of the electrical, instrumentation and control component of tenders are completed accurately.
· Break down the EC&I components of the tender into PCI Africa cost codes (including but not limited to MVSG, power transformers, cables, LV MCC's, PLC's and RIO Panels, Instruments, PLC and SCADA Programming, Electrical Installation, etc.).
· Work with the electrical engineering department to ensure that the technical specifications of packages are correct.
· Engage with suppliers and installation service providers when requesting quotations and ensure that tender-specific commercial terms are communicated, understood and included in the pricing.
· Negotiate better prices with suppliers.
· Coordinate technical and commercial adjudications when evaluating supplier quotations.
· Develop and improve relationships with suppliers.
