The Madawaska wind project is part of Quebec’s energy transition, and aims to increase the province’s wind power production capacity by installing 45 wind turbines with a total capacity of 270 MW. It offers a clean, renewable source of energy that will be integrated into Hydro-Québec’s transmission grid.
The project is located on both private and public land, in forested and agricultural sectors within the municipalities of Dégelis and Saint-Jean-de-la-Lande in the Témiscouata RCM.
