Job Description

 Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Electrical specialists in our Mackay branch. Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager – Dragline & Electric Rope Shovels. The focus of this position is to provide support and direction to both internal and site based teams through technical electrical services for Draglines and/or Electric Rope Shovels. 
  Core Responsibilities to include;  
 Work collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels with provision of status reports
 Provide on-site technical expertise to diagnose and repair advanced electrical circuits, electronic control and drive systems, ensuring work is completed to the correct equipment specifications
 Ensure electrical audit inspections align with OEM specifications and risk based decisions are accurate & prioritised correctly
