Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and technical drawings
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and equipment failure
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Replace faulty components such as circuit breakers, relays, motors, and switches
• Assist in upgrading or modifying electrical systems as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians
• Respond to emergency electrical issues when required

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Technology or a related field
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role
