Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of the Offshore Substation (OSS), covering High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV) systems, as well as critical Instrumentation and Tele-communication infrastructure. This role ensures the power stability and communication integrity of the offshore wind farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections on 230kV/66kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), including monitoring gas pressure, checking valve positions, and ensuring the general integrity of the gas-insulated system.
• Maintain Main Power Transformers and Voltage Shunt Reactors, involving oil sampling, visual inspection and checking for oil leakages etc.
• Monitor radiator structural integrity, coating conditions, and cooling fan operation to prevent thermal damage.
