This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
Provide a qualified Electrical Utility Manager who shall be responsible for managing personnel, budget, and construction and maintenance projects associated with Diego Garcia’s Electrical Utility System.
Management Skills: a) Must be able to conduct on-site technical risk assessments of the Electrical Utility System, and be thoroughly familiar with construction standards,
operating procedures, policies, record keeping practices, and code compliance. b) Must be thoroughly familiar with electric utility overhead and underground distribution systems. c) Must have an understanding of electrical utility environmental and safety regulations. d) Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel, both in writing and orally.
