Electrician 2nd Class

**Description:**
* Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment following all safety procedures, electrical codes, manuals, schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
* Demonstrates knowledge of basic grounding and shielding, electricity, and electrical wiring and raceway systems.
* Uses basic electrical meters and equipment to test equipment.
* Maintains and repairs various types of electrical components.
* Performs work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
* This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or GED required.
* A minimum of 2 years electrical experience as an Electrician or a technical degree in an electrical field is required.
