Electrician - Explora Journeys

JOB PURPOSE

An exciting opportunity exists for a world-class Electrician to join our newly created luxury travel brand, “Explora Journeys.” This role oversees the maintenance of all electrical equipment throughout the ship and the engine room.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Be on board the vessel at any time the First Electrician is absent, in mutual arrangement with the Chief Electrician.
2. Consult daily with the Chief Electrician concerning methods and procedures for maintenance and upkeep of electrical equipment within and outside the engine room.
3. Assign maintenance and repair duties to electricians and actively supervise overhaul and repair work.
4. Inspect all related work in progress and upon completion, ensure manpower is utilized efficiently, work is performed to acceptable standards, and no wastage of materials occurs.
