Summary About the Position: Without direct supervision, performs the installation, modification, testing, maintenance and repair various electrical equipment and systems. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE UP TO 25% OF THE BASE PAY. Responsibilities Installs, repairs, and maintains facility-wide LAN wiring, telephone wiring, and installation and termination of fiber optic cable and associated hardware. Participates in a callback emergency service program by being available during designated periods of time to answer trouble calls on nights, weekends, and holidays, working to restore normal operation with a minimum of delay. Tests and repairs lock operations support equipment such as secondary distribution switchboards sump pump systems, dewatering pump systems. Duties include high voltage cable splicing.
