Description
 :Major Job Functions:
Install, commission, service, and troubleshoot CAT generator sets (diesel and natural gas) 
Perform electrical work on: 
Generator controls (EMCP/ECS platforms) 
Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) 
Switchgear and distribution equipment 
Paralleling and load‑sharing systems 
Control Systems 
Read and interpret Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and single line diagrams
Functional testing and verification 
Load bank testing 
Perform mechanical work on: 
Large Diesel and Nat. Gas engines 
Air Compressors 
Qualifications: 
Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred) 
HET Certification; (Apprentices will be considered) or, Willing to pursue apprenticeship 
Electrical Safety Training – Arc Flash and Shock (CSAZ462) 
FSRA or FSRB credential would be cons...
