Job Description
Join OSM Thome as an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on an LCO₂ tanker operating in Norwegian waters. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, contributing to efficient and secure vessel and cargo operations.
This is a temporary assignment starting 24 June, with an expected duration of approximately six months. The position follows a 4/4 rotation schedule.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Ensure safe operation of power generation and distribution systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting for navigation and communication equipment
- Support safe cargo operations and key deck/engine systems from an electrical perspective
- Keep accurate maintenance records and follow company and class standards
