Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technologist II

Under general supervision, the Electroneurophysiology Technologist II performs standard and complex EEG recordings and provides support to the Seizure Monitoring Unit. The role may include Ictal SPECT injections (based on license scope) and involves performing nerve conduction studies (EMG), intraoperative monitoring, and evoked potentials in lab or ICU settings. The technologist assists in training junior personnel, operates and troubleshoots equipment, and maintains accurate patient records. Travel to other adult acute care sites in the Calgary Zone is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate ENP tests based on clinical history, findings, and protocols.
• Provide real-time feedback to surgeons for early detection of intraoperative injury.
