Electronic Equipment Design Assurance engineer

Job Requirements

Minimum required qualifications:

• University engineering degree in Avionics, Electronics, Software, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 5 years in aeronautics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airborne software and electronic hardware: Working knowledge of airborne software and electronic hardware guidance and Means of Compliance, including ARP-4754A/B, RTCA DO-178B, DO-178C and supplements, DO-248B/C, DO-254, DO-297 (IMA), DO-326A/DO-356A/DO-355 (Cube security), DO-330, DO-200A, FAA AC 20-115D, AC 20-152A, Order A, and A.
• Functional knowledge of English is required for this position.
• Multiple programming languages (C, C++, Ada95, Assembly, Python, etc.) and multiple hardware description languages.
• Development and testing (FPGA, ASIC, or PLD).
• Knowledge of requirements capture environments (DOORS, JAMA, etc.).
