Summary You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the Combat Systems Weapon Division of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA. Responsibilities You will assist Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF) and deployed ships with Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) for the Aegis Weapon Systems (AWS) computer Suite on Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) equipped Navy platforms. You will provide technical services in connection with on-scene direct fleet support of the: AWS Advanced Baselines Computer Suite, AWS Computer Network and Integrated LAN System, and the BMD 5.X Computing suite equipment and systems. You will provide technical support and oversight of test programs, modernization and repairs, as well as, Material condition Reviews, Installation Functional Checkout, and Post-Repair Acceptance validation as a government agent.
