About the role
Weir Marine Engineering is seeking an Electronic Engineering Technologist to join our Electronics Measurement and Control group. This role supports the engineering team in the development, installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic equipment and Measurement and Data Acquisition Systems deployed aboard naval vessels.
The successful candidate will be a hands‑on, detail-oriented technologist with strong practical electronics and instrumentation skills, capable of working effectively in laboratory and shipboard environments. Responsibilities include supporting the integration, verification, and sustainment of measurement and monitoring systems deployed aboard naval vessels and, on occasion, Uncrewed Vehicles (UxVs).
