Elementary Music Teacher

LOCATION: Wilkshire Early Childhood Center

June 2, 2026

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid K-12 Michigan Teaching Certificate (JX endorsement).

Vocal and Early Childhood Music pedagogical skills necessary.

Ability to work cooperatively with part of a school team.

Genuine desire to work with elementary students.

Effective communication skills.

Appropriate technological background to integrate with instruction.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Music teacher will develop and implement a supportive classroom culture using our robust Orff Schulwerk-informed curriculum, based on state and national standards, which makes learning music fun, which inspires children to create music that they feel proud of, and develop a love of music.
