Elevator Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs regular and routinely maintenance work on units within the maintenance contracts to ensure efficient and continuous safe operation of elevator / escalator units.
• Corrects breakdown of elevator/ escalator units and monitor its performance.
• Reports, accomplishes daily servicing schedules, checklist and monitors performance of malfunctioning units for purposes of eliminating/minimizing frequency of breakdowns.
• To perform regular inspection of all elevator / escalator equipment and determine possible parts replacement.
• To prepare estimate as to the quantity of materials and parts needed in the performance of preventive maintenance.
• To communicate with client concerning elevator / escalator performance and to provide written reports when required.
• To report to Local Area Representative / Route Supervisor concerning elevator / escalator performance, parts requirements and potential problems. <...
