About the Project

Our client builds animal monitoring technology used in veterinary clinics. Clinics install a small local server called ZooKeeper, which:

• Connects to wearable animal monitoring devices
• Acts as a Wi-Fi hotspot inside the clinic
• Sends collected data securely to the cloud

We are upgrading ZooKeeper from older hardware to a modern Raspberry Pi platform and improving its wireless reliability.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Move ZooKeeper to Raspberry Pi

• Install and configure Ubuntu Server (Linux)
• Set up Docker to run the application
• Configure Wi-Fi hotspot mode
• Set up firewall and network security
• Ensure the system restarts cleanly after power loss
• Make sure data syncs reliably to the cloud
