We are currently seeking a*Emergency Medical Services Supervisor (Battalion Chief)* to join our EMS Operations team. This full-time position will work rotating nights.
*Purpose of this position: *Under**thegeneralsupervisionoftheEMSDeputy Chief (Manager)theEmergencyMedicalServices(EMS)Supervisor/Battalion Chiefhastheauthoritytodirectstaffandisresponsibleforthecoordinationofdaily shiftoperations.Actasthepointofcontactfordepartmentstaffandotherpublicsafetyagenciesinthecounty,region,andstate.
Is responsible for the direct supervision of field and support staff. Responds to incidents in the field that require a supervisory presence. May supervise the EMS Emergency Communication Center and Special Operations staff in the absence of the other EMS Battalion Chiefs (Supervisor)
