Job Description:

Fire Suppression & Emergency Response

• Respond immediately to fire alarms, chemical spills, and battery thermal runaway incidents.
• Apply EV-specific firefighting techniques (use of Class D extinguishers, fire blankets, water fog systems).
• Operate SCBA, fire suits, and PPE for hazardous environments.

EV Battery Hazard Management

• Identify lithium-ion battery types and associated risks (thermal runaway, toxic gas emissions).
• Conduct gas detection using LEL and multi-gas meters.
• Implement EV Emergency Response Guidelines (ERG) and incident command systems.

Preparedness & Training

• Conduct fire drills, evacuation exercises, and ERT training for factory staff.
• Maintain firefighting equipment, suppression systems, and emergency kits.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure alignment with DOSH and BOMBA requirements.
