Emergency Services Tech II - Emergency Services - Full Time Nights

Position Summary: The ED EST is responsible for providing and supporting patient care and an exceptional patient experience in the ED. The ED EST is also responsible for supporting efficient throughput of both discharged and admitted ED patients.

Education, License & Cert:

+ High school graduate/GED or equivalent

+ BLS required

+ EMT/EMT-P preferred

+ EKG certification preferred

+ Phlebotomy certification preferred

Experience:

Previous customer/patient relations experience preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Patient Care Technician/CNA preferred

Essential Functions:

+ Stocks and organizes ED supplies and equipment including dietary supplies

+ Transports patients into and out of the ED including assisting patients from private vehicles, moving patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or hospital bed
