Job Summary
Responsible for assisting with patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and performs one-on-ones with behavioral health patients to support patient's needs. Accountable for patient care, which incorporates clinical and clerical tasks, planning and implementation, evaluation, and intervention skills. Also responsible for the maintenance, stocking of the rooms during shift, and upkeep of the department and equipment and supplies. Works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and/or Manager.
Job Specific Duties
* Provides care to patients under the direction of the RN including: taking vitals, collecting & delivering specimens to the laboratory, performing EKG, and assisting in medical procedure.
* Provides care to patients under the direction of the RN including: assisting with ventilation, performing CPR, communicating with arriving cases, setting up all monitors, & checklist completion.
