JOB TITLE: ENROLLED NURSE ASSISTANT – MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide age‑appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Act within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary. Comply with hospital policies and regulations. Possess excellent interpersonal skills. Provide safe, quality patient care in the ward. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 education. Registered with the SANC as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary. Preferably two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary in a hospital setting. Prepared to work shift‑work (night or day shift). SKILLS Excellent telephone skills.
