Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Endodontist will specialize in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of any damage and/or injury to the tooth pulp, as well as, the tissue and nerves within and surrounding the root of a tooth that have become damaged or infected due to some type of bacteria. Part time position - up to 20 hours/week.

CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assume quality of care for patients with endodontic problems while adhering to the highest standard of dental practice ethics and professionalism;
  • Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases of dental pulps and periapical tissues of teeth;
  • Evaluates findings and prescribes method of treatment to prevent loss of teeth and to restore teeth to function;
  • Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting vitality of teeth: Examines teeth, gums, and related tissues to determine condition, using dental instruments, X-Ray, and other diagnos...
