Position Summary
This is an introductory course to nuclear energy, covering basic atomic/nuclear structure and interactions, radioactive decay, fission and fusion, and nuclear power plants: thermal hydraulics, safety and waste management. Position Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree with a P.Eng. designation. Previous teaching experience at a post secondary educational institution is an asset. Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills. Submission of a one page statement of teaching philosophy as it relates to the course.
