Job Description
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Field Engineer in our Energy Storage group that will be responsible for participating in the active management of construction project by problem solving, performing various processes and applying basic construction management or engineering techniques and analyses.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide pre-construction support
Manage submittal and RFI processes for specific definable features of work (DFW), utilizing PMA and other programs completely to closure.
Evaluate and distribute project design and engineering documents
Prepare team for site mobilization and research living arrangements
Prepare turnover binder templates and assist with pre-mobilization kickoff meetings
Arrange short form subcontracts with local entities (power, trailers, housing)
Draft subcontracts and purchase agreements
