Engine Man Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines of bus units
• Conduct engine overhauling, tune-ups, and replacements when necessary
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to fuel injection systems, turbochargers, cooling systems, and exhaust
• Ensure proper timing, compression, and fuel efficiency of engine units
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
• Inspect and replace worn-out engine components like gaskets, pistons, valves, and belts
• Test run engines after repairs to ensure proper operation and performance
• Work closely with the Chief Mechanic for repair schedules and reporting engine-related concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, following safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of solid experience in engine repair and maintenance of van, bus, or heavy-duty diesel vehicles
