Engine Mechanic Supervisor

An Engine Mechanic Supervisor leads a team of mechanics, overseeing the maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of engines (gearbox, heavy equipment, marine) and vehicles, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while handling scheduling, training, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing supplies and reports, often requiring a strong mechanical background and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Team Leadership: Assign tasks, train staff, mentor, and ensure high performance.

· Technical Oversight: Diagnose complex mechanical failures, determine repairs, and perform skilled work.

· Operations Management: Manage daily workflow, ensure adherence to safety (OSHA) and company standards, and maintain equipment.

· Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, manage records, estimate costs, and handle parts inventory.
