 Description
 
  Overview 
 The 3rd Class Engineer is responsible for monitoring and participating in boiler plant operations. A licensed Engineer must safely monitor, maintain, and adjust Powerhouse equipment and related systems for efficient operation and to ensure a reliable energy source for fluctuating heating, cooling, and emergency power systems.
 
  Key Duties and Responsibilities 
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Monitoring equipment at specified intervals and recording data in operation logs: Boilers, pumps, gauges, pressure, water tanks, and other regulated equipment as well as the related building automation software (BAS) to consistently provide a balanced and efficient operating environment.Opening and closing valves; starting, stopping, and/or adjusting equipment in response to changing weather conditions or en...
