Tailings Engineer Opportunity

An opportunity for a Tailings Engineer with around 4 - 7 years experience to join a top engineering consultancy's Centurion or Sandton office.

The engineer would contribute to new and existing projects and assist senior engineers and project managers with surveillance of existing and design of new tailings storage facilities and return water dams.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 4 to 7 years of tailings engineering experience
• B Eng or BSc Eng in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous
• Good fundamental understanding and knowledge of soil mechanics
• Post graduate experience in geotechnical engineering will be advantageous
• Experience in CPTu testing and interpretation
• Experience in geotechnical investigations considered advantageous
• Experience in related laboratory testing of soils and tailings material considered advantageous...
