Job Description

The ABS Ship Design and Innovation Center, located in Shanghai, China was established to enhance our global network of technology centers and supports our mission of safety in the region and around the world. As an Engineer in this center, you will participate in or lead research and development projects with regional and global clients, with a focus on hull form optimization. 
What You Will Do:
Perform CFD-based performance predictions and optimization studies for various ship types (, container ships, bulk carriers, tankers, LNG carriers, offshore units) and facilitate communication with clients.
Support BD in pre-contract services and client engagement.
Support ABS technical community on queries regarding hull form optimization.
Carry out research on hull form optimization methodologies. 
Develop tools or software of hull form optimizations.
