Engineer (Lifeboat)

Job Description:

• Maintaining, repairing, inspecting, commissioning, and installing rotating machinery for ships and power production, including gas and steam turbines. Services for cryogenic equipment. bulk handling of materials.
• Service and calibration of automation and instruments.
• Troubleshooting and servicing of control systems (PLC). Panel assembly manufacturing. Burner overhauling, automatic feed water control and combustion control for boilers.
• A willingness to put in extra time and work hands-on in an oil and gas, marine, and industrial setting (with compensation determined by MOM practices).
• Able to leave on short notice for overseas trips (paid allowance).

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Automation & Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Marine Engineering from NTC or Diploma programmes.
