Engineer Major Developments

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $86,230 to $121,736 (including KiwiSaver). We anticipate paying around the midpoint.
The opportunity
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring new developments (e.g. over 100 lots) integrate seamlessly with our three waters networks, supporting growth while protecting long-term infrastructure outcomes. This is a varied and influential role that combines technical engineering assessment, stakeholder engagement, and development coordination.
You will:
* Assess development-related applications, including resource consents, network connections, and subdivision approvals
* Provide clear, practical three waters servicing advice aligned with regional standards
* Coordinate Wellington Water input into major developments and growth projects
