Job Description
Become a vital part of APEGA as an Engineer or Geoscientist in Compliance. Ensure that practitioners in engineering and geoscience adhere to licensing requirements while receiving comprehensive training and support.
Reporting to the Unlicensed Practice Manager, this role requires you to apply your expertise in the EGP Act. You'll investigate compliance violations, collaborate closely with legal counsel, and pursue court action when required. Your focus will be on promoting voluntary compliance among practitioners through education and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate compliance cases under the EGP Act
• Collaborate with legal counsel on non-compliance
• Review evidence and deliver findings on violations
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the department
Requirements:
• Professional Engineer or Geoscientist registered with APEGA
• 6-7 years of related experience in engineering or geosc...
