Engineer, PCS

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our PCS (Propulsion Control System) team at Wärtsilä.

The role is permanent and could be based in Stord or Moss (Norway), Trieste (Italy) or Shanghai (China).

Responsibilities

• Creation of electrical and layout drawings.
• Implementation of customer specifications.
• Release of Bill of Materials.
• Preparation of technical documentation, including Installation Planning Instructions, Factory Acceptance Test, and Operation Manual.
• Development of software application packages within the functional specifications of the project.
• Assurance of on‑time delivery of engineering milestones.
• Provide support during sales, production and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical high‑school diploma in electrics, electronics or automation.
• Understanding and/or experience with electrical and automation systems.
